We have a special reason to give thanks this year. Our 16 year old son had a cardiac arrest this summer due to an undiscovered heart defect termed Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome. He was without oxygen for 19 minutes and somehow managed to not only survive but to thrive after 7 days in Pediatrics ICU at Emanuel Hospital and two heart surgeries. We owe our families lives to to the efforts of the firefighters, paramedics and doctors who worked endlessly to save Robby.
